Our History
Before Steadfast Property Inspections LLC was founded, our journey began in the construction industry. We have spent nearly two decades constructing, remodeling and designing homes. Within that span of time, we deepened our understanding of the contractor-client relationship. Years ago, we envisioned enhancing the customer experience for homeowners and buyers. This vision led to the creation of our company. Steadfast is not just a name; it embodies a way of life cultivated throughout many years in the construction and service industry. From custom bathrooms and kitchen builds to full home remodels and renovations, we developed a profound appreciation for the structure and functionality of homes across the Midsouth. Now, we are channeling this knowledge into the home and property inspection industry.
Meet Your Inspector
Billy is a Certified Professional Inspector accredited by InterNACHI, the premier international organization for training and certifying home inspectors. Before transitioning to the home inspection industry, Billy dedicated nearly 25 years to residential and commercial construction. His extensive experience includes working hands-on as a licensed contractor and advancing to roles overseeing safety compliance and managing high-profile projects.
A distinguished graduate of the Herff Engineering program at the University of Memphis, Billy combines academic excellence with real-world expertise. His decades of experience in residential construction have honed his exceptional attention to detail, comprehensive knowledge of safety standards, and deep understanding of building systems.
As a certified inspector, Billy is unwavering in his commitment to the highest industry standards. He provides thorough inspections, clear and concise reports, and reliable service, ensuring confidence and peace of mind for every client.
What it means to be an InterNACHI Cetified Inspector
Our inspectors are Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® trained by InterNACHI - the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (www.NACHI.org) - which is the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors that provides education, training, and certification.
All InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® are required to pass an Inspector Exam, follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, abide by a strict Code of Ethics, and take accredited Continuing Education courses each year in order to maintain their membership in good standing.
In order to become certified, our inspectors were required to take inspection courses related to the interior and exterior of the home, including the common and major areas of concern for home buyers, such as the foundation, heating and cooling, roof, plumbing, and electrical systems. Our inspectors are graduates of InterNACHI® School, the world's only home inspector college that offers the nationally-accredited Home Inspector Certificate Program.
